We happily buy core by the truckload.

We are a Major Core Buyer.

We are not major for every kind of core but for several key categories, we are a big deal.

(We are not a big deal on things like window motors for example)

  1. Core / wore out Sullair Units 1050-1600 CFM, with the Cat C-15 (BEM / JRE / MSC)
  2. Agricultural / construction diesel engines like the John Deere 4039 / 4045s.
  3. Cummins engines.

Got New surplus?

We Buy Excess, Obsolete, and Surplus Parts

Our team have bought directly from General Motors, Sullair, Chrysler, Case / New Holland (CNH), John Deere, and many large distributors. But you don't have to have $100k in surplus to get our attention. Shoot us a message!

In particular we like:

  • New / Reman / Running Units
  • Engines / Transmissions
  • Fuel Components (Turbos, injectors, etc)
  • Rotating Electrical (starters, alternators)
Reputation

Our owner prides himself on a strong reputation. He has been a proud player in the core / surplus industry for over 17 years.

Relationships

If we are not the right people to purchase your core / surplus we might know who is. Our team knows most of the companies in this industry and can help!

Integrity

At the end of the day know that our team places a much higher value on our integrity than on what we can buy from you. We do business fairly and above board. People who work with us tend to come back again and again!

How much Core / Surplus do I need to have to sell to you?

It depends on the commodity.

  • Core Engines: We will buy even just 1 engine but we won't arrange the freight. You have to get it to us. If you have 1/2 of a truckload we can usually set up the freight for you.
  • New Engines: We will buy even just 1 and depending on the engine we can handle freight.
  • Small Parts: We require a lot of small parts for freight to be worth it.

What kind of percentage of new value do you pay?

It depends on the commodity.

  • On all parts the % of new value is influenced by the market desirability. For instance a new Chevy 350 will be easy for us to sell but a new Chevy 3.8L engine is old and very unpopular and would be difficult for us to sell.
  • Engines, transmissions, and turbos the % of new value tends to be higher.
  • Rotating electrical and fuel parts are a decent %.
  • Small parts are a lower percentage.

Reach out and we can give you feedback on what you have. If we are not a buyer often we can point you towards someone who might be.

How does shipping work?

If you have a piece of large equipment or at least 1/2 of a truckload of stuff (that we want to buy) then we can usually cover freight. Small quantities / amounts of material sometimes need to have logistics covered by the seller (or the purchase price lowered to cover freight expenses).

This isn't because we are cruel. The more of something you ship the more cost economical the freight is. Small quantities of heavy things cost more per piece to ship, it is just economics!
